Simulating Shallow Depth of Field In Adobe Lightroom 4

I made this video this morning in response to a question that I’d received on another video, about the ability to simulate shallow depth of field in Lightroom. The gist of the video is that it’s possible to do it in Lightroom, but only in a paltry (yet difficult) way, and you’d be much better of doing it in Photoshop. Alternately, there are plugins that are available for Lightroom (such as onOne’s “Focal Point 2”) that provide better blurs and masking tools, though at nearly the same cost as Lightroom itself.

Thanks!
I’m sure that many of you know that in LR5 you can right-click on the “pin” that controls the effect and just duplicate it to multiply the effect, without having to repaint the mask.
