As you’d expect after the cancellation of CP+ in Japan and NAB in the USA, among others, Germany’s Photokina 2020 has been canceled. Originally scheduled for May 27-30 2020, the organizers and the city of Cologne both recommended that all conventions be cancelled until at least the end of June.
Further, citing ” strongly dynamic movements ” in the photography market, the Koelnmesse management has opted to push back the next Photokina until May of 2022. This will allow exhibitors enough time to get a grip on the the changing desires of consumers.
